American Express Platinum and Centurion cardholders now have a new way to relax while traveling, thanks to the launch of the Centurion Studio at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The studio is part of the The Centurion Lounge network, and is the first location for such a lounge in Pacific-Northwest.
The Centurion Studio includes charging stations, comfortable seats, free high speed Internet and special beverages. In addition, the Studio offers specialty local foods that are popular in the Seattle area.
According to American Express, "The Centurion Studio brings all the comfort, design, quality and convenience of The Centurion Lounge to a smaller, more intimate space, featuring the most essential amenities Card Members want while traveling."
The Centurion Lounges are offered in larger airports, such as Las Vegas, New York, San Francisco, Miami and Dallas/Fort Worth. They include some unique features: the Miami Lounge includes a spa, while the San Francisco Lounge has a pressurized wine station.
The new Centurion Studio is open from 5 AM to 10 PM every day. To gain admission, you must be a Platinum or Centurion cardholder or part of a cardholder's immediate family; there are no "day passes" offered for sale.
"Many of our Platinum Card Members travel and enjoy the Lounges so often that we wanted to bring this unique Lounge experience to more places, including airports with smaller available spaces," said Lisa Durocher, Senior Vice President of Charge Cards and Benefits for American Express.
